• Plant Height: Medium
• Plant Structure: Waxy and robust
• Leaf Structure: Bent and broad
• Spike Structure: Upright and pointed towards the tip, with off-white or yellow spikes and brown awns.
• Seed Characteristics: Amber-colored, plump, hard, and glassy grains that tend to turn when watered too much.
• Thousand Seed Weight: 35-45 g
• Tillering Characteristics: Good

Cultivation & Nutrition

• The Southeastern Anatolia Region shows higher productivity in coastal areas due to its rainfall-based and irrigated conditions (yield is higher in irrigated conditions).

Under optimum conditions, the average yield is around 600-650 kg/da and the yield potential can go up to 800 kg/da.
